Musical childhood
My journey into the world of music began in Tbilisi, Georgia, with a profound and unbreakable connection that took root in my earliest childhood. At the age of six, I was admitted to a music school, where my passion for sounds and melodies started to transform my life. The ability to express my thoughts and feelings through the magic of the piano always filled me with enthusiasm, and even in my childhood, I began composing musical pieces.
My way into the world of music
After completing my academic education successfully, I worked in the engineering industry for a period of three years. In 2002, I arrived in Germany with my two children, which presented me with the challenge of embarking on a new career path.
My passion for music
Music has always held a central place in my life. While I initially faced professional hurdles, an opportunity arose for me to lead an extracurricular music group in a comprehensive school. This marked the beginning of a fulfilling journey where I shared my love and passion for music with my students.
Music as a profession
I started with a small group and had modest earnings, but I was inspired by the enthusiasm of this group. My passion for music motivated me continually. In addition to piano, I also taught guitar and keyboard courses. Shortly thereafter, I became a co-music teacher at a comprehensive school, responsible for students in grades five to seven. This pedagogical role deepened my connection with my students.
My involvement with the City Music School
I also had the opportunity to participate in the JEKI project at the city music school, where I worked in various Solingen elementary schools and eventually even led the JEKI orchestra. This broadened my experience in working with different age groups.
My Concerts and Work as a Composer
In parallel with my teaching, I dedicated myself intensely to music, both through concerts and as a composer. A significant turning point on my path to creative self-realization was the release of my first album, “Tango of My Soul,” in 2009. This album included not only new compositions but also works I had created in my childhood. Among them was a romance titled “In the Hills of Georgia,” which I composed at the tender age of 13, as well as “13 Is My Favorite Number,” which I dedicated to my mother at the age of 15. This step marked a pivotal moment in my musical journey. In the years that followed, four more albums were created:
-2010: “Thank You, My Guardian Angel”
-2012: “It’s Tango Time”
-2015: “Flower Street 13”
-2018: “Musical Tale – Anna the Forest Fairy,” in which, alongside my own compositions, you can hear the works of my exceptionally talented 8-year-old student. These moments served as gateways into the world of music, a realm filled with wonders and endless possibilities.
The Creation of the Davi-Do-Re-Mi
Music School During the times of the COVID-19 pandemic, I made the decision to forge my own path and founded the Davi-Do-Re-Mi Music School. Here, I developed a method that allows even children as young as three years old to learn to play the piano. My approach doesn’t just focus on musical skills but also on building self-confidence and life skills.
A friend and teacher
In One In my role as an educator, I go beyond the traditional teacher’s role – I act as a trusted figure and mentor for my students. I lend a sympathetic ear, share in their experiences, and offer support in various life situations. My students not only learn musical content but also important life lessons, becoming more self-assured, which will serve them well in their personal development.
The joy of teaching
Every lesson brings me joy. The encounters with my students are highly valuable to me, and I consider myself fortunate to embark on this wonderful journey into the world of music with them.
Gratitude to My Students
My students and I have grown into a close-knit family. I’m grateful for the opportunity to pass on my passion for music and deeply appreciate the joy and support my students bring into my life. A Warm Welcome to New Students I would like to extend a warm welcome to every new student. I look forward to welcoming you into our musical family and embarking on this journey together.
